A great book to add to your counseling or/or teacher resources!

Where is the number one place on your campus
where bullying occurs the most???

Recess is probably number 1 or a close 2nd!!!

{BOOK overview from Barnes & Noble}

Overview

A fresh & original twist on the common issue of bullying. Kids will relate, & parents & teachers will appreciate the story's deft handling of conflict resolution (which happens w/o adult intervention)
Mean Jean was Recess Queen and nobody said any different.
Nobody swung until Mean Jean swung.
Nobody kicked until Mean Jean kicked.
Nobody bounced until Mean Jean bounced.
If kids ever crossed her, she'd push 'em and smoosh 'em lollapaloosh 'em, hammer 'em, slammer 'em kitz and kajammer 'em.
Until a new kid came to school!
With her irrepressible spirit, the new girl dethrones the reigning recess bully by becoming her friend in this infectious playground romp.

Super Excited about this book!  Can't believe I have never seen it before!?!?!?
My mind is spinning with cute guidance lessons to create.

I'll have to grab this one. Have you read King of the Playground. It is about a bully too! I would love for you to come read about the books I just shared that I use to build Our School Family. Maybe you can get some ideas too!

I love the name of your blog and am your newest follower. =)

Blessings,

Heather
