I am currently a District Counselor that covers PK-12th grades. I have a little over 450 students on my campuses. I am the District Counselor, GT Coordinator, Testing Coordinator, Homeless Liaison, Textbook Coordinator, and any other coordinator that needs a random person assigned to a duty.
I love my job! Although, there are times I wonder: why did I choose this path? Someone much wiser than myself, my high school principal, childhood best friend's dad, and the person that sang at our wedding - often says "Stay the Course." Perhaps that is why I continue on this crazy path. I love the idea that I am planting trees that I will never sit under. I hope that I am making a difference in someones life.
